Welcome to the Chenn Lab!
Our major research interest is understanding the factors that control cell proliferation and differentiation in the developing mammalian central nervous system. The ongoing research of the lab seeks to understand the function and control of these pathways in both normal and tumor cells. The identification and better understanding of these key pathways can lead to improved diagnostic tools and novel drug targets in brain cancer. See our Research page for details. We are a member of the Northwestern Brain Tumor Institute and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University.
